Dr. Richard Steeves – Chairman

Richard is Founder and CEO of Synergy Health Plc, a leading global provider of sterilisation services to the healthcare industry. Synergy serves both hospitals and medical device customers, processing the vast majority of medical implants used in Europe today from a network of 100 facilities in 14 countries. Synergy is listed on the London Stock Exchange with ticker symbol SYR. Richard holds a BSc from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and a PhD in Biochemistry from Cambridge University.

Martin Whitbread – Chief Executive Officer

Martin founded Proceur after following the EMEA Healthcare Services industry over 10 years as an equity research analyst – firstly at Morgan Stanley and then Credit Suisse. Over that decade, he has been involved in the majority of Initial Public Offerings in the sector, building an unrivalled expertise of the sector and its business models.  Prior to this Martin was a consultant at Gemini Consulting, the strategy arm of Cap Gemini.  Martin holds BA and MSci degrees in Geological Sciences from Cambridge University.   He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

Andrew Long – Chief Information Officer

Andrew has 12 years experience in providing Information Technology solutions in the Healthcare, Finance and Education sectors.  As CIO at a Financial Services start-up he built and managed a high-availability IT and transaction processing infrastructure supporting growth to over £100 million of annual revenues.  More recently at HSBC, he has managed a range of security projects. Andrew holds an LL.B degree from Sheffield Hallam University and is a qualified PRINCE2 practitioner.
